These Mohair thermal socks are made from 85% mohair, 13% nylon and 2% spandex. The inside is un-dyed mohair so that the foot is only in contact with the natural fiber. The outside is a nylon/spandex sheath added to ensure elasticity, and has re-enforced toes and heels. These mohair socks, which are warmer, more resistant and softer than woolen socks, prevent perspiration. The foot is always dry. Ideal for sports, hunting and fishing, hiking and outside work. We carry these unisex socks in either Gray or Mottled Blue in sizes Medium to X-Large. They are considered boot style socks, and reach approximately mid-calf height. View the sizing tab for more information on how to size properly. They are made entirely in Canada by Chèvrerie Le Grand Flodden. They are crafted in the province of Quebec and made from mohair, the fiber produced by angora goats. These angora goats have been raised for about thirty years at Grand Flodden Farm in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. Maintenance for these mohair socks is easy: machine wash and rinse at the same temperature (warm or cold water) and hang to dry.
